Fundación En Vía is a microfinance NGO committed to empowering women, helping them to better support themselves and their families. The organization channels funds generated through responsible tourism to provide interest-free loans and educational programs to entrepreneurial women across five communities in the Tlacolula Valley of Oaxaca, Mexico.

I spent just over a month working with Fundación En Vía, capturing the beauty of the women’s craftwork and contributing to a project aimed at creating a visual and digital storefront to showcase their activities.
